Fred Shook is an internationally recognized author. He has written children's books, film scripts, short stories, and university textbooks. He is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
Fred has taught and worked internationally as a university journalism professor, television writer, producer, consultant, and as a director and editor for commercial television organizations, corporations, and government agencies.
He has worked throughout the United States and Canada as well as in Germany, New Zealand, Fiji, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sri Lanka, and Africa.
Fred was inducted as a National Television Academy Silver Circle Member in 2005. He received a Rocky Mountain Emmy Nomination for writing in 2004, and was honored in 2002 with the National Press Photographers Association Robin F. Garland "Outstanding National Educator" award.
He believes quality children's stories can help change the world.
